Swapping out your chair for an exercise ball makes a huge difference.

“We found that when someone’s sitting for a long time, any movement is good movement,” says co-author Jacquelyn Kulinski, M.D. “If you’re stuck at your desk, stretch, shift positions frequently or just fidget. They all improve fitness.”

There are many ways to reduce sitting time and increase activity at work. We like to use thigh masters or DFX Sports Pro Gyros at our desks. Moving around also helps with concentration and improves focus.
